Practice makes perfect and this is especially true for songwriting. The intensive study of structural content now finds its application. Continuity is a key in the development to become a songwriter. The focus is on creativity and conceptual work in composition.
Songwriting Module 4
Arrangements & highlights in compositions
Catchy arrangements and their targeted use in pop often determine whether a song leaves a lasting impression. Ambition in connection with goal-oriented work are the main points of the semester, as well as the use of highlights in the song.
Songwriting Module 5

Set focus
Recording
In the course of your studies you have developed preferences in the areas of lyrics, topline and tracking. These strengths should now be explicitly promoted. Furthermore, the development of your own production and recording chain is in focus. By the end of the semester, you will be able to professionally record your works according to your individual requirements and demands.
Module 3, 5 Start September 1
Module 2, 4 Start March 1
All modules are freely selectable and can be attended by you online or in presence.
Pre-College
You enroll in one of the modules and attend classes at RPJAM for only 6 months. You are free to choose the modules you want to attend. Here you can limit yourself to one module or attend as many modules (also of the other departments) as you like.
Main studies
For the main course of study, you must have taken modules 2 to 4 by the time you graduate. Module 5 is optional. The order is variable, depending on when you start in September or March.
