Music Production Module 1

Introduction

In the introductory sessions, an overview of all conventional DAWs (Logic, Ableton, Cubase..) is provided and the first software-based production attempts with MIDI instruments are made in the DAW Logic Pro X.

Music Production Module 2

Audio Editing

After having completed the topic MIDI Production in the introduction, this course teaches basic techniques in working with audio tracks.

Music Production Module 3

Mixing and effects

In this series of events, first mixing attempts are made on the basis of the knowledge imparted in the previous event. Basic effects (compressors, EQ’s, reverb’s, modulation effects, etc.) will be taught in their application.

Own production

Following the three previous series of classes, it is now time to start your first own production under the supervision of a lecturer. In this series of classes, helpful tips will be imparted during the first steps, as well as the repetition of previous topics will be offered.

Music Production Module 6

Advanced Course II

This series of events is all about tape recording. Here, live on-stage courses of the academy are recorded and subsequently edited and mixed. This series of events is also not mandatory for all courses, but can be booked as an add-on after successfully completing the previous 5 events.

All modules are freely selectable and can be attended by you online or in presence.

 

 Pre-College

You enroll in one of the modules and attend classes at RPJAM for only 6 months. You are free to choose the modules you want to attend. Here you can limit yourself to one module or attend as many modules (also of the other departments) as you like.

 

Main studies

For the main study you must have taken the modules 1 to 4. Depending on your level of knowledge you can also start with module 2 (modules 2 to 5) or module 3 (3 to 6).
